The Christmas Star was under the tree for me this year from my Mother. She wore it on her wedding day in 1946. It was given to her by her Mother when she was 13 years old. It is a beautiful Marcasite Star that has weathered 64 years in the jewelry box as I doubt it was worn very much all the years. The folks also weathered all those years outside the "box." Dad is now 84 and Mother is 79.
