TRAILER PARK TERRACE............by Diane Ogden

I noticed we Americans have a new reality show coming to once again grace our ways.  Cross our paths, honor our existence, bless our spirits, teach us how to live better, and so on.  Yup, it's called  Myrtle Beach Manor.  It is barely a step up or should I say down from Honey Boo Boo. Another representative of American redneck heritage all the way to the corporate banks
.
After viewing the trailer for Myrtle Beach I was taking the dog out for a podie run.  Standing there in the gorgeous Wisco Sun (23 days to Spring) part of my brain speaks to the other part and says, "Humm, someone, no many, are cashing in on the trailer trash image.  And in case you didn't know it, there is another amazing show about Gypsy's who get married in outlandish gowns that look worse than what 7 year old girls put together from their dress up chests. Much worse not to mention the attitudes that match their verbiage. (reminds me of garbage) Of which I also have in the backyard of Ancestors.  See below Joe.

Back to standing in the sun with various parts of my brain talking to other various parts of my brain saying:  "Hey Mama, you got yourself some trailer folk in the background!  Dig deep honey(boo boo and pull out some of that redneck family heritage trash and cash in!"  Its much easier to talk trash, act trash, and look like trash, than to play Orange County Wife Swap or whatever that is....
And maybe its more fun too.  Hey, Myrtle Beach is no more than a dramatic Dukes of Hazard show....  you know with Daisy Duke in her too short shorts and southern dumb drawl.  Not saying the southern drawl is dumb...unless Daisy is speakin' it.   And I could find me a shotgun somewhere along with an old Chevy or Ford pic up truck.  I could do it!  I could! But what if "it" rubbed off on me considering I have some of those roooots.

Do I want to?  The bank says yup....the brain says nope.  So until I hear, find, think, or see anything interesting or funny like my family above.  Be safe, Be well, Be Happy, and get rich so you don't have to fake being trailer trash to make big $.  Or maybe they are having the time of their lives playing trailer time on TV.  I think so.  P.S. the one in the hat is my Great Gma...  Second to left is my now 81 year old Mother.   The trailer belonged to my Grandmother (center bottom with her leg over some man's leg who I think is a direct descendant of the famous Judge Michael Torphy of Madison Wisco)
No seriously.

Murder in the Boathouse.................by Diane Ogden

So this is not the dark scary boathouse I came in contact wiht earlier this year because I wouldn't want to use the real one. I had to change the names and place of incident to protect ME!  When I first encountered this home, I was taken on a tour of it's 4,000 sq. feet.  We got the the second basement family area, meaning this house has four levels and we were on the rock bottom level facing the lake.  I was sort of excited to open the door and check out the view which I did.  I opened the door and immediately shut the door on the dark dreary frightening boathouse I had just come face to face with.  Some say I am psychic and I am to a degree.....When I opened that door I sensed a murder had taken place in that boathouse and the spirit of the victim was still there. Or maybe it was a murderous spirit still there.  All I know is that spirit was frightening!!  I took the job offered to me which means I go to that home weekly and have never opened the door or blinds to that boathouse since that day.  And every worker/helper that has ever gone with me to that house tells me they do not feel comfortable there. (I never tell them about the spirit in the house)  The helper I have had for the past several months, and I, agree in prayer before we go into "The Lakehouse" every week and that has worked. We hold hands in agreement and tell the bad spirit it has to leave in Jesus name while we are in the home.  That it can come back when we leave and not before. This has worked for several months now... Until Today. I took my daughter with me to help out as the regular helper called in.  My daughter is extremely psychic and although I didn't tell her about the spirit......when we walked in to the house she told me she needed me to work with her as she didn't feel comfortable being alone in this house. I didnt ask any questions because I didnt want to hear what she might say.  And so per her request we worked together.  Then came time to go to the deepest basement area. Everything seemed to be going well until my daughter clearly and certainly said, "There is a murderous spirit around here!"  I was sitting on the steps and immediately felt cold as ice and smelled the distinct odor of sewer.  I knew it was the murderer.
I told my daughter to give me her hand and we agreed "it" had to leave in Jesus name.  It left within seconds as did the stink of sewer.  Bad spirits many times have a bad odor.  I thought my daughter was going to faint she was so scared and overtaken by the entire incident.  Cant say I was too happy about it.  I had worked for a long long time keeping that spirit away so we could work in peace.  Now I have to start over.  I had even called a prayer group in Oklahoma to help with this "one" way back when I first encountered "it" and now here we go again.
So until next time I find something interesting or happy or funny.
Be Safe, Be Well, Be Happy, and get rich but just remember spirits don't care about $....... So take authority over any bad air you sense around you.  That'll make your day better.

Prissy Pants Lady ............ by Diane Ogden

So I was not able to do my weekly grocery shopping last eve due to the fact I lost my car keys which also had my apt. and mailbox keys on it...as well as my clicker, meaning my clicker to lock the doors, panic button, trunk button blah blah blah.  So I went to the grocery store today, Monday as well as to the Buick dealership to purchase a new CHIP in key which cost $40.00. I ran into another lady today who told me her CHIP key cost her $600.00.  Robbery I say! Back to my point.  I go to a grocery store that is non corporate owned.....  not like Wal Mart yet those are the sorts of folks I sometimes see there especially during a full moon.  Today I didn't see weirdo's but I did see Prissy Pants...  I almost laughed out loud while in the meat department when I looked up and saw Prissy Pants.
Size 0-2 slick tight pants they call leggings, boots, leather jacket, long blonde fifty year old locks, all good until I saw the "mug."  (face)  OMG....This woman had long hair she curled in thick spirals, blonde or course..... and the look on her face was unforgettable.  SMUG...Sneering...half "COCKED" smile, and the fellow walking next to her was OMG so proud of his trophy priss "cocked" smiling lady...  I almost threw up in the isle.  Well not really but p l e a s e...  She was about 50 something and he was younger and so proud of her.  She must do something besides curl those locks. (I didn't say cocklocks) And omg the struttttt..  her strutttt... you know the bounce in the step with the boots on thingy.  I thought I should forget where I was and who I was at that nano second.  Why?  Because it was so out of the ballpart bad. He followed her like a puppy dog.  Seriously.  But then this is life.  And he is happy and she is bouncing uppie downie...  and I am laughing my ass off  knowing they are in for a rough landing from this plane ride.  Hope it is worth it Babbs.
It was definitely worth it for me.  The laugh alone was great except I was embarrassed for her.  The Blonde ya know?
Maybe I was "The Blonde" once or twice in my lifetime so I better s h u t u p...and let those people be
who they are. I have a refrigerator magnet that says to "Honor everyone else's path!" So I should let them enjoy each other until they figure out why we/they are all here which isn't to prissy pants through the grocery store smugly.  Ever notice that word?  S M - Ugly.
So until tomorrow or the next day when I come across something/anything .....be happy, be safe, be well, and get rich so you can prance through the mall, the grocery store, the car wash, church, or even anywhere.  With a bit more class I do hope.  Laters...
p.s. I know the photo is Lady GaGa but it sort of represents the lady I saw today....totally but with boots on.

Happy Valentines Day...........by Diane Ogden

As you recall or don't recall, I missed Christmas due to the 2012 flu.  It lasted way too long almost to the end of December...   That being said, I just took my tree down.   Considering I was behind "Time," I missed Valentines Day also.  So here I am trying to make up for it.  Whenever I see a heart in an odd place I take a photo of it.  As in the Baby Swiss Cheese I brought in my lunch today....   And once at a clients I observed a precious little heart nature had placed in one of the oak pieces of their hard wood floors in the kitchen.  That would have solidified my decision to purchase that home also.
Another time, Grace and I were visiting a neighbor.  Grace wondered off into her bedroom where later upon walking into that room I saw it! OMG - She peed with love a heart right there in the carpet. Seriously!  I couldn't make this one up.

So I am wishing everyone to find hearts like I do.  In Swiss Cheese, in hardwood lumber flooring, in dog urine.  Well what can I say except it is what it is.

So until I find some more hearts in strange places....  be safe, be happy, be well, and well, money really cant help you find these kind of hearts...but it can help you find and help many hurting hearts.  "Laters...."

Naked Snow Angel...............by Diane Ogden

I was searching Google for a Snow Angel....you know one of the ones where a person lays down in the snow and does the leg and arm swish to make an Angel in the snow......  And this would be what popped up...  I couldn't help but laugh.  I cannot recall where this is from but I do recall reading his wife took the picture....   Hilarious and thanks whoever you are!
So until the next naked snow angel appears to me via google....be safe, be happy, be well, and get rich so you can buy some clothes and a snow blower Dude!

Death.................by DianeOgden

I was lying in bed about to sleep and the thinking began.  Death..  I was lying there so comfy...then thought what about when I die?  And how this body wont be lying here all comfy, rather  the body will be gone and what is inside will be and that is what will be.  My feelings, my emotions or are those the same?  My brain thoughts??  Will they change or be all good like I have heard?  My friend told me her deceased brother said there were the most beautiful horses there and another said he was planting flowers like he had never known on this earth.  That moved my thinking to:  OMG are there only living things there? I bet so!  I don't do horses, nor am I much good with horticulture like my dad or mom were. I seem to be an apartment goddess to speak... for instance I like to make jewelry.  Shit I bet there is no jewelry in heaven.  Oh carp.....I meant crap but isn't that ironic?  carp eats crap.  Oh Lord.  I do love animals and believe when we die we will finally see how we could have or should have communicated with the animals better.  Maybe that will be my saviour in a sense huh?  Pearls and gems sure wont.  Nor will my computer, or my ability to sew unless heaven has a sewing room.  Who knows there might be a quilting room and a crochet and knitting room.  But I suspect not.  I suspect its all physics....  I really do.  Physics is life in every aspect.  I do wish I had been able to go that far in schooling.  I know physics in my spirit....but I didn't learn it in my earthly brain.  That's okay....The spirit is the most important  as it is what lives on.  I may meet my physics professor client in heaven and know as much or more than she does in that field.....  Wouldn't that blow a physics professor away?  Me too.  How fun is that to look forward to.  There may be no smart levels there. And if there are I bet there is no bullying of one another.  Its supposed to be all love and consideration.  I can do that.
Okay back to bed unless more comes to me for you. Nite.

Windows 8 .................by Diane Ogden

There it is!  My new Samsung Notebook with Windows 8.  I must have thought I was at a restaurant or a fancy clothing store where I could "order up" what I preferred vs not getting what I want because when I told the salesman I preferred Windows 7 and would he have one of those in stock please?  He giggled, yes giggled, and said, "No I don't because they don't make those anymore.

What if we went into a restaurant and ordered scrambled eggs @ $3.98 and the waitress informed us they weren't available anymore.  Can only get sunnyside up @ $9.98.  Doesn't that have a name?  Didn't I learn in school something about this?  It has a name and darned if I can think of it.  When a company or government only allows one company to have it all.  I guess its time to Google that one.

And this is why my son tells me over and over to buy APPLE!  I haven't because I would have to buy so much to replace what I already have it would cost a small car loan's worth.  But after yesterday I might think harder on that decision.  You see "it" is sitting behind me on a TV Tray. Yes sitting there waiting for me to figure "it" out.  I called Best Buy and informed them there was no CD in the box with my new Samsung Notebook to teach me how to use Windows 8.  The lady put me on hold (probably scared to tell me the truth) and passed me onto a fellow who said, "They don't offer those anymore!"  I said, "Oh, wonderful, what am I supposed to do with this black box then, sit and star at it?"  I was not born in the decade where kids are born with ready made techno chips in their brains.  I was born when they used the word arithmetic and the milkman delivered our milk right to our back door.  Thus is where the term, "That kid came from the milkman."  Maybe that is where my brother derived from since I recall my mother being in her nightgown once when he came in the back door. Hummm.   (Bet she doesn't know I remember that one) Hey she covered her tracks, she named him after Grandad!  I knew he didn't belong. LOL.  My luck he reads this.  So what's my point?  I am not sure I can even Google how to use Windows 8.  Actually my favorite was and still is XP!!  XP was fun.  And every time they (Corporations) come out with a new Windows none of your old programs work in the new deal.  I may return it and just keep repairing my old Windows 7.  They are controlling what I want and can have.  I want scrambled and they tell me I cant have it.  Microsoft is not democratic.  Ya think?  But then not much is anymore.  I figure my big old box TV would have way outlasted this skinny not so HD as they said TV will. It is built to die soon.  My Grandmothers refrigerator is still running in my parents garage and that is like one of the FIRST General Electric Icebox'es.  Seriously.
So maybe not so funny here, or happy, but interesting if you have encountered Windows 8 and informative in case you do.
So be happy, be safe, be well, and get rich so you can buy APPLE!!  They make things for you to add-on vs replace and have to throw away all the old discs that wont work on the new products.  I guess they think we are dumb.  humm

Peter Died.................by Diane Ogden

Peter was my friend.  Several years ago something bad happened to me and I had to start over in life.  In the area of finding a job that is.  Which wasn't happening so I took a job delivering newspapers.  I delivered The ONION and the University of Wisconsin Badger Herald and I forgot the other one (imagine that?) Oh yeah The Cardinal. And the Sustainable Times.  I over-loaded my blessed car every day and overloaded my back also.   It was too much work for a lady my size and for too long but I thanked the Universe and or God everyday that I had enough money to exist.  I did that for four or five years.  I didn't count.  While I did that I met a fellow named Peter Bell.  Peter was quite the different sort of person.  He had a photographic memory and would call me and telling me everything he ever remembered in life!!   Sometimes that was annoying.  Peter and I did not have a romantic relationship, rather he liked to call and visit.  He would stopped over maybe three times in the 4-5 years we knew each other and he called himself Uncle Peter to my cat and dog.  Peter knew hundreds of  jokes but I never could remember them.   Not until Peter died.  Then I remembered the last joke he ever told me and I cant forget it.

Why didn't the skeleton cross the road?
Because he didn't have any guts!

I know, its a dumb old joke, and Peter knew them all.  And I always laughed 'cause he needed that.
He told me about every island everywhere it seemed.  And actors and actress's from old movies and the old movies of which I never could remember because Peter was a few years older than I.  He also stood up for me at work when someone said I threw good papers away.  No one else believed me when I really didn't throw any papers away.  Sometimes in those sort of jobs (lower class) others who need the job set one up for such a nasty so they get fired. Guess they do that at higher class jobs too.  Regardless Peter was a constant to me and disregarded others taught.   He didn't believe in God.  The Nuns and Priests messed him up pretty bad at the Catholic school he went to.  Really bad in fact.  They told him even if he had sexual thoughts (and he was at that young man age where that is normal) that he would go to Hell.  He actually had to get psychiatric help when he was young due to the "religious") brainwashing.  Peter was a ballroom dancer.  He wooed the ladies at the Rosewood Apartments where he lived. And the ratio of men to women was 20-1!  So he was a busy fellow.  Peter had a Jerbal...crap I forget her name....   And Peter loved to sell things on his computer.  He retired from J.C. Penney's before he delivered newspapers.  Once he applied for a job as a shuttle driver for the airport.  Peter was always coming up with crazy ideas to make money.  And he usually made enough.  He had his own Tuxedo Printing Company on the side.  He was very proud when he was asked to make OBAMA buttons and or Obama car magnets.  He introduced me to Suzanne Beecher who is a writer.  Peter always told me I was an excellent writer and after I wrote my first novel (still sitting there needing tweaks) he called Suzanne who was so kind to send me a signed copy of her book and give me wonderful instructions on how to publish mine.  He also told me when he first saw me (in the dirty warehouse, no not whorehouse) that he just figured I was a lowlife.
Huh?  Seriously he did.  Then after he heard me speak and got to know me he told me I had more depth then he every imagined.  We could converse intellectually and that shocked him.  Peter was a bit of a chauvinist actually.  I knew about every one of his girlfriends from H.S.on.  And about all the ones that let him down on www.match.com.  Oh Lord that was a mess because Peter thought he was maybe a little better looking than true life.  He had no waist and no butt so his pants barely stayed up. He was bald and his glasses were I swear from the 60's so I told him it was time for an upgrade and some clothes that fit.  He listened and got new glasses and some new jeans.  Peter had ADD!  Peter never stopped talking.  If I wanted to say something I had to shout at him to STOP, IT'S MY TURN!  Then he would stop but for the most part he talked and I listened. I could talk while he was talking which I did sometimes just for fun and he never heard me!  Seriously. Peter told me when we die we all just go to different dirt.  I cracked up but then when I thought about it.....dang he was right.  Depending on how we do in life depends on what dirt we go to.  Doesn't that sound like the absolute truth?  From dust to dust / ashes to ashes?  I wonder if there are different ash piles?  Just kidding. Peter's sister Marge Jesberger from New England area called me and told me Peter had passed.  I didn't cry, but I got all giddy and weird. I don't know why.  I told her everything I could think of about Peter and our relationship.  Like she missed out knowing that part of him or something. I don't know.  I did cry later on.  Peter always printed all my mailing labels and my business magnet for my car as well as magnetic business cards  and so on.  He was just a swell person.  Annoying at times, but swell.  And I miss Peter Bell and his bad jokes and ADD and intelligent conversation.  Even though much of the time it was one-sided.  His!  I bet he is happy happy now.  He had to work too hard here on earth.

The Cross in Our Bodies...........borrowed by Diane Ogden

I do not usually share political (unless its Sarah Palin jokes) or Religious issues.  But this one came to me from my mentor of 36 years, her brother and written by a medical doctor.  Makes a "body" wonder.  Is that a pun?  Whatever is was it was good! "Body Wonder." I used to have an uncle by marriage who would laugh hardily at himself right after he finished a bad joke.  Odd thing was he was the only one laughing.  I don't think I am like that. I have a friend who will SNOPES this immediately.   I will let you know if it's bogus but I don't think so.

Subject: The cross in our bodies
This is a pretty neat story and an interesting thing that few of usknow. It's brief, so please read. (FROM A DOCTOR)
A couple of days ago I was running (I use that term very loosely) on my treadmill, watching a DVD sermon by Louie Giglio... And I was BLOWN AWAY! I want to share what I learned....
He (Louie) was talking about how inconceivably BIG our God is... How He spoke the universe into being.. How He breathes stars out of His mouth that are huge raging balls of fire.. Etc. Etc. Then He went on to speak of how this star-breathing, universe creating God ALSO knitted our human bodies together with amazing detail and wonder. At this point I am LOVING it (fascinating from a medical standpoint, you know.) .. And I was remembering how I was constantly amazed during medical school as I learned more and more about God's handiwork. I remember so many times thinking..'How can ANYONE deny that a Creator did all of this???'
Louie went on to talk about how we can trust that the God who created all this, also has the power to hold it all together when things seem to be falling apart...how our loving Creator is also our sustainer.
And then I lost my breath. And it wasn't because I was running my treadmill, either!!!

It was because he started talking about laminin. I knew about laminin.. Here is how Wikipedia describes them: 'Laminins are a family of proteins that are an integral part of the structural scaffolding of basement membranes in almost every animal tissue' You see.... Laminins are what hold us together... LITERALLY. They are cell adhesion molecules. They are what holds one cell of our bodies to the next cell. Without them, we would literally fall apart. And I knew all this already. But what I didn't know is what they LOOKED LIKE..
But now I do. And I have thought about it a thousand times since (already)....Here is what the structure of laminin looks like... AND THIS IS NOT a 'Christian portrayal' of it.... If you look up laminin in any scientific/medical piece of literature, this is what you will see....

Now tell me that our God is not the coolest!!! Amazing. The glue that holds us together.... ALL of us..... Is in the shape of the cross. Immediately Colossians 1:15-17 comes to mind. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. All things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him All things HOLD TOGETHER.' Colossians 1:15-17

Call me crazy. I just think that is very, very, very cool. Thousands of years before the world knew anything about laminin, Paul penned those words. And now we see that from a very LITERAL standpoint, we are held together... One cell to another.... By the cross.

You would never in a quadrillion years convince me that is anything other than the mark of a Creator who knew EXACTLY what laminin 'glue' would look like long before Adam breathed his first breath!!

What I found when I googled laminin !!!!!!!!!!!

This is cool - had to pass it on. I think we could all use a miracle. I know I certainly can!  (I am also believing for $90,000.00. Probably nothing to do with Laminin ya think?)  No this is from Rhonda Byrne. The Secret? I don't have any reason to need that particular amount of $90,000.00.  I just thought it was a good number for me.   And I hope this is a real live story.   Be safe, Be Well, Be Happy, and Get Rich like I am about to be!  You can eat better, think better, drive better, dress better, feel better, breath better, and drink better "stuff."  Chevis vs bar brand.  Just kidding, jeez.

Wisconsin Badger 5 .....................by Diane Ogden

So every week for several years I have purchased a Badger 5 blessed ticket with the same numbers each week.  4-12-13-21-22.   All my children's birth dates and mine, two being the same.  That being said I think I should knock this off and change it to the winning football team in the country.  Seriously people.  Winners are winners. Are my family winners?  They are normal folk but not touch downer's that get millions.  No offense kids....But hey I do numerology and I know...yet there is that lil measure of notsosurity.  You know?  Haven't you seen those folks win outathebluewho!  God told me once during a meditation that "Someone has to win!"  He also told me once during a meditation that he once knew a woman that prayed to win the lotto and she got overtime instead!!!"
That would be me.  Yet I have hope that one day I will hit it big.  I am DUE!  Do is a moving word...  Do it, Do it, Do it!  See its a word that expressed movement.  Well not necessarily positive movement but hey the lotto is never negative...the lotto is always positive HOPE.  That being said..... my $28 dollars a month is a good investment.  I have won many $1 and $2 and twice $50 dollars.   Whoopee eeww...  I am so afraid to stop buying the numbers I buy as the superstition overwhelms me.....
My Mother bought the same numbers for years and one week she did not and missed (SIT DOWN) $18,000.000.00 dollars.  I thought she was going to have a mental breakdown.  Not so sure I would blame her.  OMG...  But she has food so she's good.  Oh and a new car too.  And a farm and so on.
So until I find something interesting and or humorous, be happy, be safe, be well, and get the heck rich so you can stop buying one lotto a week and move on.  Maybe a new SUV and help for the sad animals.  I tell you when you die you will see something... And what you will see is  That you can talk to the animals.  Go ahead call me crazy lady today, but that day you will "get it."  And no lotto will mean anything then.
Nite.....

Selling Gold..............by Diane Ogden

Today I took a little drive to a small town I grew up in to visit the local Goldsmith who is an old acquaintance.  I had made the decision to sell my Grandad's Gold non-working and broken pocket watch and wanted that to be with someone I trusted.  I am a very sentimental person so this was very hard for me to do.  But hey, it has sat on my bedroom shelf along with his WWII dog tags and his sunglasses for a couple decades or so.  I thought of having the watch shell melted down into a nugget for a necklace but decided not to.  I did ask the watchmaker at William Howard Jewelry if it could be repaired.  He wasn't sure but he did wish to purchase it. He said he liked a challenge.  He wanted to purchase it but not for much because it was  gold filled..... The Goldsmith didn't really want it so Watchman gave me $25 or $35 I cant recall which.   I figured what the heck and moved onto the diamond earring I found laying on the ground that has been hanging around in my jewel box.  I wore it a few times but it wasn't the style I prefer so I sold it to the Goldsmith. I figured if I croaked (passed onto the next life) my kids might not even find the tiny thing or know it was REAL. So all in all my little trip to the little town blessed me with near $100.00.  I hope Grandad is not upset.  Probably not. If so he can go visit Bill Howard or the watchman!  So until next time.....you know the routine.  Be well, Be happy, Be safe, and get rich so you don't sell your Grandfathers pocket watch for pocket change.  (I didn't have to do that, I chose to)  Doesn't Grandad look like Rhett Butler a little?  I thought so too.

CULVER'S..................by Diane Ogden

For four days I have been dreaming of driving to a nearby town, two miles away, and getting myself a Culver's Chicken Cashew salad with French Dressing.  I rarely eat dressing but always eat brownies so obviously its not because of a calorie issue.  Today was the day!  I drove the two miles, through the 20 mph school zone right at the wrong time which is how the day seemed to go anyway.... up to the window and ordered "it."   Then I said, "Ma-am, that would be French dressing as in Frank.  She said, "Huh?"   I said, "F as in Frank, French Dressing please."   I have to pull up past the pay window and do the number on the window deal and wait.  No worries.  I get my four day waited for salad and bee bop home.  Get all hunkered down and open the bag and wtfrontdoor?   I have R as in how stupid can you be RANCH? I am allergic to milk! I am livid.  Yes livid.  I have no nadda none dressing in my house.  I have brownies, but no dressing.  I go to my computer and google Culver's Verona, Wisconsin.  I get the number and call.  I hear capaso amigo (okay something like that) on the other end.  I ask for the manager in all good hopes that isn't him.(And thank God it wasn't Jane from India.)  Tim comes to the phone.  I tell him the problem and he says so sorry and offers me a free sundae.  I calmly say, "Tim, I am lactose intolerant" and wait for him to offer something else.  Nope just a sorry.  I just hung up the smart phone and mixed up some mayonnaise, flax milk and sugar for my dressing! Was it good.  Nope but I ate it anyway.  No tang like the french.  Then I had a brownie.
I should have gotten a FREE Culver's Chicken Cashew Salad considering these facts.  Maybe I should call my pre paid legal service.  Nah.
Sooo, until I have another mishap, or find something interesting or funny.  Be safe, Be Well,  Be Happy, and get Rich so you can buy a Chicken Cashew Salad every day or even buy Culver's.
The dog liked it!   I know isn't that a hilarious photo of a truly precious 6 lb-er.  Reminds me of how we used to put our faces to close to the chrome toasters as kids and our nose looked all big.  ha

Cigarettes, Wedding Cake, and Scotch.............by Diane Ogden

I don't get horrifically stressed to often but I did this morning.  And after a couple hours and no heart attack I suddenly had the urge for a cigarette.  I quit smoking ten years ago July!  And here I am standing in my kitchen craving a cigarette or even a long tasty cigar which would have helped along he heart attack for sure.  No worries I didn't run out in the freezing cold, start my Buick and head for the Kwik Trip and spend, what are they now?  $7.50 a pack Jack?  Even if they are bad that is sheer robbery.  I survived the momentary craving and moved on.  Actually it happened twice this morning.

I have always said,  "If I am ever told I have terminal anything (except terminal stress) I will go out and purchase and carton (one will kill me!) of cigarettes, a wedding cake (I love the old fashioned heart attack frosting on white wedding cakes), and a bottle of good Scotch.  That'd be enough to do me under.  No morphine needed, no bridge needed, no gun needed, no bottle of pills, no rope, no river, no mac truck, no brick wall, (you can see I have put some thought into this - NOT!)

Nope the Sugar, Nicotine, and Scotch would have DEAD written all over them.  But what a way to go!!  My only fear is if it is the A word (Alzheimer's) I might forget to do it.

So until next time and if I remember.....be well, be happy, be safe, and be WELL.  And get rich so you can hire a hit man for yourself if you need to.

Wisconsin Winterwonderland... January 2013 ...by Diane Ogden

The meteorologists said this was coming and indeed it did. There are snowstorms, blizzards, and so on but this one was a beauty.  When I say beauty I don't mean a blizzard ....I mean it was beautiful.  Teens say "bad" when they mean good....but this was GOOD.  No one died....and it was a true winter wonderland called awesome.  I couldn't stop taking pictures even tho some didn't seem to turn out as good as what I was looking at.  Humm.   The snow was heavy...some snow is light and breezy, some is heavy and packing, some is wet and sloshie....  This was a good packing snow.  Long as my 6 lb. little girl dog can find a spot to pee wee are good.  So from this Northern Territory of Happy Snow...   Be Happy, Be Safe, Be Well, and get the heck rich so you can buy a sled, or good tires, or a snowboard, or a vacation trip to Florida to get the H outta this here place after that pretty snow gets dirty brownish gray.... Pretty or not Fred....(it's twenty below ......   nite
