Rich Wisdom, Poor Wisdom...by Diane Ogden

Ever noticed how "people" listen to wealthy people and not to poor less financially secure people. That just might be a mistake! (Not that I am poor but to a rich man I may be considered such) Take away the money, take away the clothes, take away the cars, houses, jewelry, face lifts, tucks, hair, skin, and on and on......what you have then is the biggest and most amazing unseen arrangement of colors, senses, energies, brightness, wisdom and peace! And more! That is your lite! What do we do with the skin we have been set into? I suspect that is our biggest lesson to "overcome" or work on while walking on the earthly dust we shall return to. I was giving some advice to a wealthy friend the other day.... I knew it wasn't being received because if I really were wise I would be rich. I am rich. I have plenty. Actually I have plenty more than the wealthy man. Not that he isn't smart of course. Just sayin.....take it all away and I wonder what is under Donald Trumps comb over? What lite shines under any one's skin and bones? Some people are simple and merely show their "butts." Other just think they are hiding, like a child who covers his/her eyes and thinks they are unseen by all. Shhh, their lite will tell their story!!
Sometimes I see into the spirit world. A gift I have. I was under hypnosis (not totally under, but totally relaxed) and the hypnotherapist asked me what I saw. I saw little balls of lite. Hundreds of them traveling in space in an orderly fashion. Some were very bright, some very dim, some large, some small, etc..... They were what is left when the body passes. These little lites reminded me of the plastic ducks at the fair floating in that circular tank...you pic one and get the prize written on the bottom of the yellow duckie. We are little duckies summoned by a force greater than the skin to a place we already chose. Whatever you overcome here you benefit from "there." If you are a nasty mean person you are summoned by nasty mean little lites and you join them. ha. If you do your best which is never perfect, you are summoned to the peaceful place and your lite is brighter and bigger.(OK so it is a bit more complex, yet simple, but that is enough for now) I thought maybe I was crazy, no I knew I wasn't...BUT.... then I was watching Oprah one day and a man was on who escaped a plane crash. He told the story of seeing the little lites leaving the burning bodies. Some lites were big and bright and some dim and small... all different sizes and variations of brightness.. I started to scream inside my head...I WAS RIGHT, I SAW THAT TOO.....OMG! So my point is and I could go on for pages...but wont. Point is....I have been blessed with much wisdom of this earth and beyond its borders. I am wealthy beyond imagination and I pity the money man or woman who cant hear me, or the many with no skin and bones who walk before their wisdom. Too deep, S H U T U P! Not! Take it or leave it skins. My new word for dummies. You know, all those books for dummies.... Is there one called The Dummies Guide to Wisdom from Above... Well here it is. Just remove the skin and bones and botox and tucks and money and clothes and cars and then take a look at their lite! I love my lite and work to make it brighter and bigger. What is written onthe bottom of your little duckie?

Pan and Spoon Banging...by Diane Ogden

I tried to find a picture of an old woman beating on a pan.....didn't happen. So you get this pic. And dam I wish my waist were that size but then if it were I think I might have some sort of bad illness. Waists don't come in that size anymore, just like feet aren't small either anymore. I suspect we are evolving on the wrong ends.. ha... Remember the bird blog? The birds are mating and screaming and now diving at my dog and I to protect their little blue eggs and fighting other birds for the same reason, except they cant tell the diff between my dog, me, and the real enemy... same as us humans I guess. Human and Humane, interesting! Back to my point, which is....maybe I could use the pan and spoon deal with other things...such as ugly family members. My friend told me the pan and spoon deal is how she keeps the birds away from her porch. She bangs and bangs on a pan! At first I thought, "Are you nuts?" But then I got to thinking which can be dangerous! You know, just keep it handy, the pan and spoon thing, and when they, family, friends, co workers, say or do something I and the world, because of course the world takes my side, doesn't agree with, or is nasty, just bang the "dam" thing hard for about ten seconds.....that outta do it. This might work for awhile but I suspect the men with white coats might just come on the scene and take me away, ho ho, ho ho... after a while. That is from some old comedy sketch or movie years back. And here we are full circle laughing once again. I spelled damn, dam, so it I wasn't really cursing. Did it work? Or did you think I was tricking myself and you......Curse is a curse no matter how you spell it. So did you learn anything from my post? How to make a fool of yourself banging on a pan in public. Or how to shock the sheit out of your ugly family members so they act nicer to you! Oops did I spell shit wrong? Yes and on purpose cause cursing causes curses. So don't curse yourself no matter what the birds or your family do. Take care of yourself better. Now do you get it?

Happy Birthday Daniel my Son.....by Diane Ogden

Are you the apple of my eye? Are you my pride and joy? Well you are. Maybe your actions are not,but you are. I have loved you since before you were born. You made me the happiest young woman alive. I sang to you while we walked and talked and to help you go to sleep... I adored you. Then came the interference.... People who were stronger then I.....people who found a way to take you from me. You didn't understand nor did I. People I thought loved me and you, did this. And therefore our lives became a combination of love meaning pain. I have found my way out but you have not. You hoped I would find it for you and I tried through guilt, but I couldn't.... My love was big enough but society doesn't count love for dollars. I need so many dollars to help you and I am searching for them. Daily I search for them. I miss you. I love you. I am so glad you were born. Am I? Borne to have such pain and live in an awful cold and / or hot tiny room where you fear for your life daily. Is that why I bore you? No..... God and the Universe I beg your expertise and trust you will help find a way to show the world the injustice done to my son through our sick justice system. You did some wrong, but not to this degree. They threw away your key so we have to trust a higher power who has the key to all things including your situation. Happy Birthday Daniel....I love you forever and forgive me for not having an answer to save you from your daily horror. I am forever watching and listening for the answer or the reporter or the attorney that will help us. "It's you and me against the world," like I used to sing to you...(only because of people thinking I was too young vs supporting us.)My tears are of joy for the answer. You do not deserve twenty nine years in a cement hole. You are kind and giving and loving. You will never do drugs again and haven't for many years already... enough time to allow you to see what they did to your life......

You are free but you are not!! Hold your anger to allow an answer. Love Love Love Mother xxoo

Give Me My Wits Back...by Diane Ogden

Lets start with the definition of "wits." The basic human power of intelligent thought and perception;I would prefer to put more beautiful pictures of myself in LITTLE black dresses on my blog as you noticed in the previous post.......but it's back to reality. I got the wits scared out of me yesterday. As you know I have a Green Cleaning Business in Madison Wisconsin. We were cleaning for a new client when I noticed a very bright orange and yellow plane flying far too low to be safe. It looked rather like a seaplane. Humm why would a seaplane be flying just over the treetops on land. Oh my God is it a kook? A suicide bomber?Has Korea finally infiltrated America? How will they talk the nutcase down? As it made its swoops back and forth getting closer to the house I am in, my wits started to get progressively more startled. That plane was sooo loud it felt like bone shaken syndrome. My new name for localized fear. More likely it was just the generalize anxiety disorder some doctor said I have/had. Well I had it yesterday. I tried to determine if I would be safer on the top floor or the basement floor if this suicide bomber decided on that particular house and street to lay himself out. I never really went into why me? I decided neither up or down would be so good and went outside to inquire what was the situation. So far my estimation of it was all bad and loud and getting more outlandish. Such as, well this would be better than a nursing home like Auntie.... But I don't really want to suffer so make it good, and on and on.... Yes the disorder was taking over. I shouted with restrain, "Does anyone know what is going on?" No I didn't let on I was abashed with inner horror....I am good at hiding it, it think. The man shouted back, "They are spraying for gypsy moths!" I just stood there for a moment gathering my wits back.... Then I thought, "Just duckie! Here I am doing my part for society and the planet cleaning all natural, Green, and I pic this day to be on this street getting sprayed with chemicals as though I were nothing more than a gypsy moth in a tree. How little we really are in the scheme of life. And I thought someone was trying to kill me off. I was right! My John Edwards psychic ability came through once again.... and once again I survived my own story. Which I can always laugh at afterwards. Maybe I should work on that. If you have read any of my blog stories you know I have many more lives than my cat! This one is true though....or is it?

The Rain Came...by Diane Ogden

The rains came today and shut the birds up! It has been such a wonderful relief from their fighting and war games at our complex. I suspect it has even given them a nice break to sit on their little nests and bond vs battle. It's a nice soft rain so no harm to all. Well, except the dog wont podie outside in the rain... not to worry, she has podie pads for rainy stormy days of the year. And gets a peanut butter treat for using them! Wish the birds could be trained so easily.http://www.flickr.com/photos/frizztext/2583773638/
And of course the picture is of me!!
I wish. I always wanted to go to New York...live in one of those Boston type Brownstones and walk around in a "little" black dress sometimes....hale a cab, not worry. Dream on honey cause dreams are just fine.

Spring? Finally! by Diane Ogden

I do believe Spring finally arrived in Wisconsin. Not that we haven't waited a very long time for it. Or is it Summer we are getting confused by. Spring is when you wear light blue and pink sweaters so I could and should say, "Spring is finally over??" We have had a few warm sunny days to splendor in. And many chilly days I get to laugh at the over zealous nut cases in shorts and sandals with goosebumps for accessories. I may drive around with a key in my trunk (its broken) but I am fully dressed with the accompany of a heater should I so need one. Arrogant, nope, because I am sure I am still one of the very few Americans who doesn't have a CD player in my car.

As for the birds, no not its for the birds, but as for them.....I like birds, not like some people do, just that I share space with them. But come Spring you can find me outside with my old sun dress on, cowpie boots, and Dad's old 30 ought shot-gun! Along with a huge plastic owl that sits on my porch to scare them away. Why? Because first I have to listen to them mate which entails screeching and calling and all sort of carryings on.... We'd get arrested if we did that..... then they nest in, and by Lord you just try and get out your door to walk your dog or just get out your door which is now their door... They dive my head, my dog...they scream some more... they fight each other protecting their young, they frippin take over. And try to sleep with a cool breeze coming in the window. NOT! They start at around 4:30 a.m. And that's it, I'm up, so is the dog, the cat is chirping in the window ready for all 300 of them...and I cant even get out of the house. There are no bird police....if I shoot that 30 ought in town I suspect I will see no birds at the jailhouse and if there are I can't open the windows.... So picture that 8 x 10 glossy.... the old lady and the birds! And who do you think wins another round another year? You got it...."The Birds." Wasn't that a movie a hundred years ago?

Artificial Intelligence..by Diane Ogden

I received an email from a friend telling me that when she called her husband to come pick up his Dinner Tray he mumbled the words "artificial intelligence." She said she couldn't figure out why he said that. Didn't take me long to figure it out! She had been "wondering" if his hearing might be wavering and stated that fact. So when he didn't answer her call for "Dinner Tray Time," she summoned him a bit louder and closer to him......that is when the saying came forth from his positive mouth/mind! "Artificial Intelligence" .....my new words for anyone that thinks they know more than I do or says anything to me in any other tone than perfect. LOL. I laughed all and any bad cells from my body over this one. Especially when she told me she would have to think on why and where that strange comment came from. H E L L O ! Artificial Intelligence....In other words, (you think your so smart.) Best line I have heard in years. Kudos to the husband for not saying what he was really thinking and for using such class regarding this "comeback" he is so noted for in life... Names and faces have been left out to protect our friendship. I am still laughing...even if I got it all wrong. DUH, doubt it.

"Pumpin Gas" by Ben...by Diane Ogden

This is Ben! Isn't he just precious? I was driving to Sauk City to deliver something and then onto Prairie Du Sac when I passed this shabby gas station and noticed the sign said, NO ETHANOL.....well I like no ethanol because my car runs better. The book that came with my car tells me not to use ethanol, but where does one find gas with no ethanol anymore...well there it was....looking like something right out of the Ozark Mountains....not Shabby Chic, just shabby. I made a U- Turn and pulled on up to the pump and before I could get my door open Ben came strolling out. I said, "What?" Then I said, "Oh my Godliness, are you going to pump my gas?" He grinned and I started squealing all about how many years it had been since any one pumped my gas. I asked him if everyone got as excited as I did. He told me only the "out a towners!" LOL... Then I said, "Wait, how much extra?" He said, "Nothin." I said I liked something for nothing. Then I got the camera out and told him I had to have pictures of this after he headed to wash my windshield. What a blow that was. I decided I would fill up there once a month on my little journey to that city of 3,234 people and where many come from all over to watch the Eagles by the river. Midway Sinclair Station, Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin if your ever in the area. I am still enjoying the treat I experienced today with Ben and my car. Oh this is Ben taking my debit card inside to slide it, bring it back to me to sign! I had gone inside to pay when another man in there told me Ben would take care of that! I ran on back to my car, got in, shut the door, and enjoyed the moment.

Morning Walk...by Diane Ogden

It's Mother's Day today and the sun is shining now thank God! Gracie Allen and I took our morning podie run which went on much longer than I expected. She has learned that when she poddie's we turn around and go back home. So she waits for at least a half mile before she relieves herself. And this morning in Wisconsin is was so chilly I wore a turtle neck sweater and winter coat and should have taken the ear muffs! I did take the camera for some little pics from our morning walk...notice the trees are not all green yet, but on their way...enjoy! And Happy Mother's Day and many more!

Cody Ogden Goes Harley...by Diane Ogden

Actually Cody (son number three) did a photo shoot for Harley Davidson in Los Angeles last week and obviously I cannot use those "hot" photos due to copyright sooo.... These came from someone taking pictures after the official ride. Cody said they had many riders in the photo shoot along with a Police Escort as well as traffic being stopped in certain areas. And he got paid for it! Cant beat that...riding new Harley's with Police Escorts and getting paid for it. And I don't know about you, but when I first saw these photos I thought the other man was Cody! But then I have more photos then these.... What a fun way to spend a day. Unless it was 101 degrees that is. These two could be twins with the helmets on....whoa...and I am the Mother, I should see the diff right away... I didn't.

RunAway Bride...by Diane Ogden

Is this the best or what? I am training them "up right." My Grannie was married too many times, My Great Grannie was married too many times, my aunties were married too many times (I guess they were Mennonites or Quakers and the girls were given up to old men at very young ages..eewww, which turned them into searching for something they were never trained to search for) so to set the girls right I showed them several negative videos of horrible things happening at weddings! People falling off tables, fainting, tornadoes taking the church away, dresses falling off, and so on. And then they saw my first husband in a coffin and then a hearse...all the while I am hoping they will connect marriage/weddings with death. OK so I am not on a realistic page. And I lied....I didn't tell them any of that awful truthful stuff. Stuff is my college word when in lack or another. Actually what I saw today was Drama in the form of little girls in gowns. Just like Prom...crying, fighting, running away, bully girls, yet all beautifully gorgeous while doing so! Drama Drama Drama like the monkey's at the zoo. My son calls it un-evolved. Ya think? But they certainly had fun at Nana's today while they reminded her/me of the three weddings I should have RUN AWAY from... but no I had to play Cinderella Poo....less one full to over pouring cup of drama equals a flat line/life after the wedding. Sad to say this dress up day turned out so traumatic for me. I'll be fine...I put an ad on Craig's List for the real deal. Wedding dresses for the girls AND ME to play RUN AWAY BRIDE with. I'll have them trained "UP RIGHT," (all puns intended") by the time they might think they want to walk down any isle.... and right out the back door! And if I'm alive I'll be the one to whisk them off in my 20 year old Lincoln with the ass end dragging because the air ride shocks died before I did. Picture that 8 x 10 glossy! Better than any fake carriage ride and of course I am NOT cynical!!

Yellow Vitamin D...by Diane Ogden

Every time I open my refrigerator I swear I get a dose of Vitamin D! It is so bright it reminds me of the Sun! I got this idea from my daughter in law. I noticed she put plain towels on her fridge shelves as she has young children who spill a lot, so I tried some antique doilies but they were just dull. Then driving around one day I thought about red place mats on the fridge shelves but said to self, eeww, that is awful, not red. Then green, no ick! Yellow, Yes Yellow! I found eight nice bright yellow towels for $7.00. I picked them up without flinching. I knew that I knew those were MY fridge shelf towels.... Now every time I open that door it shines like the afternoon sun. I am in such awe of the "pretty" I forget to eat too much. Did I say too much? Guess so. I love my yellow sunshine refrigerator. These will be great in the Winter Time! And it's great now. Try it....you'll like it...hey maybe pink huh?
