I am for the most part a very positive person. Not all the time but I try more than hard to pull it off as much as this human can humanely do so. Yet as I am in the public every day and driving around the city every day (by the way one of those companies that GIVE away advertising cars should call me!) what I really see most of the time is RUDE people. Rude, crude, and nasty people. They give me finger signs on the highway, fists, horns, shouts, pull in front of me, and make faces. In stores they butt in, run into me, steal the last piece or bag of whatever, pretend I don't exist, stare me down, and if I had my dog with me they would kick it! Okay so maybe I overexaggerated some for effect. Of course there are nice folks out there as well. Just not enough. No smiles, no one helps the little old lady across the street, or the little old man with a cane in one hand and his leaf blower in the other! I saw him and had no place to pull over and help. O M G ......no chit I really lost sleep over that one. He must have been 85 for the love of God or someone.
I notice that people really don't shine until there is a tornado, a fire, a hurricane, a flood, or any disaster. Well except for the exceptions such as EMT's and such. Maybe that is why we have disasters! To keep us humans humane. The good book mentions that God gives a brother for adversity. Damn I never understood that until now. Then again do I really understand that?
Hey listen, I could write a post saying how equally KIND people are in all my travels. Just seems there is more Idc (I don't cares) then kind and happy people. I smile at people everywhere and most just look at me like I have something wrong with me. Or they wonder what they missed. I should walk around looking up at the sky and smiling. LOL. Just to see how many humans would look up and ? SMILE? I know this isn't happy news or even that interesting but it is true. So until I come across something funny or interesting be well, be safe, be happy, and SMILE. They say it lets your endorphins out the brain shoot. And get rich so you can help that poor sucker standing by the stoplight holding a piece of cardboard that says, "Need Money, Homeless. Will Work." Humm I must have eatin something sad. Or its the FULL MOON. I 'll be fine, I have chocolate and maybe a todie before beddie.

Socially Awkward! ...............by Diane Ogden

Have you ever been socially awkward? Of course you have don't lie! Like the time at my graduation party I said with an empty head, "Do baby chick's nurse from their mom?" Before I got it out of my mouth I realized the brain had taken a momentary leave of absence. Then there were the times my voice went a decibel or three higher than usual and as it squeaked out something stupidly stupid the rest of me shrunk in horror saying silently to self, "What is the matter with you?" When I was young it could have been a cute boy.... now its just stupidly random. Someone walking into your bathroom stall and instead of walking back out they start a conversation. To me that is socially awkward. No that is insane. The things that come out of our mouths when this happens should be recorded for medical science or medical something. Sometimes I say in my own defense, "I think I might need brain dye!" Which in itself is not socially accepted. I shouldn't be driving if I need brain dye. I shouldn't be caring for myself or the lil zoo I got going on either. Webster or Wiki says: Nothing about it. Maybe I am not socially awkward as I don't fall into any of the categories listed. I just act stupid and talk dumb and irrationally on occasion. Be less concerned about what other people think of you. That is one of the suggestions given under Google. Anyone or thing with a name like GOOGLE cant be right yet Google seems to have all the answers for sure.
Use self talk to move through feeling socially awkward. In other words talk to myself and look even more foolish? Really?
Lighten up. Yup Google says to Lighten up Di! Would I post a pic of myself in hot rollers that my hair dresser says will certainly be a part of my coffin should I chose a coffin which I wont, if I weren't Light in "thinking." Humm that didn't sound right. Next was: Learn to Relax and be kind to yourself. Now we are getting somewhere... I think that could be it. The Relax one. Who can relax. I own a small business. I need major surgery. My Dad died and the whole damn family fell apart. They tell me he was the glue. Okay, too late, Humpty Dummie Family fell off the wall and broke. The end. Back to socially awkward. I think that is the wrong phrase. Was I socially awkward in second and third grade when we played Dodge Ball? I was so scared of that ball. I went to a school where they taught 0-12. Now how'd ya like a big old guy throwing a fast ball at your ass when your 7 years old. And it hurt I do recall. That's just wrong on all levels. A first date, the first time going out to eat with a date. That's just uncomfortable. So what is that thing I do that I thought was called socially awkward?

I think I merely have an occasional flash of non-confidence. Say when a handsome fellow passes by or gets very close. That is when my mouth takes off without my brain. My bladder does that too but that's a different deal. Five children and three husbands caused that poor lil organ to rebel. So maybe I am not socially awkward after all. Maybe I just a shy sweet humble woman who gets a bit nervous around bullies. See, it cant be me. Sooo, until the next time, be safe, be well, and be happy. And get rich so no one will care of your voice squeaks and or you say really dumb things. As one of my sons says, I leave you with consideration and love!

UPDATE: Babbs Will be Singing.......by Diane Ogden
Babbette messaged me she will be singing for a fundraiser on Tuesday the 23rd of October between 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time. KMUD.org
She said she was going to dedicate, "I Got A Brand New Pair Of Roller Skates" to Papa Joe, my dad that is deceased and loved her singing that song to him. And to mwha, and to her Mom who has also passed. Glad I am still standing so I get to hear her sing again. But I just have a hunch Papa and her Mama will be listening too!

Copps are Robbers...........by Diane Ogden
You know, Copps. Owned by Roundy's. The place where Bob puts his picture on all the paper bags. When I look at those bags all I can "think" of, and its my opinion only....is, "Hi, I'm Mr. Important Bob and I'm here to Rob! You! Copps Grocery Stores bought all the Pic N Save's where you don't Save anymore. Sometimes if you spend hours on coupons and go the day they say instead of the day you say. I mean to tell you a bit of a story. I had to stop at Copps last night (only if I have to) because I couldnt find raw peanuts at Super Target, and Roundy's has the best Medium Cheddar Cheese anyway and I was out. They did have every diff kind of nuts but the ones I needed. Hello big boy I talked to who does ordering, didn't your Mama teach you!A woman would have made sure to order raw peanuts. It is near Holiday Season and peanuts are important to all the little mommies and Grammies and aunties who bake. It was getting late and the little dog was in the car waiting so I bought some crushed peanuts in bags. The kind from the plastic barrels you have to use twist tie and skew # on. These were all bagged up on a display with other bagged specialties. No price anywhere. I get to the checkout with my two bags and find out one bag is $5.70 and the other is $6.98!!!!!! S H U T U P! Put your hands together like a fist like you are going to pray. That is how big the bag was. They were being robbers again. $6.99 a pound was the price not posted. That would have costs me $12.68 for peanuts for my ONE BATCH of cookies. Really? Copps are Robbers! Of course I put one bag back and bit the bullet on the other one so as not to have to drive cross town for raw peanuts at 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. Every item, okay not every item but 90% of all items in that store are 75 cents to $1.00 more than other stores. I do know of a couple other stores like that but their products are better. One time I went in there and peaches were $3.45 a pound where other stores were selling them for $1.99 a pound. Funny thing is they rotted. Who in there right mind would pay that for itty bitty peaches? This post may not be very interesting. It would be if I had a video of me standing at that checkout when I discovered the bag of nutz was going to be $6.98! I pitched a quiet, controlled, to the point fit. "Get them outta here, thank you!"
Okay so I didn't say that! I did say. "Seriously? Really? That would be around $13.00 (I couldn't add up the total that fast in my head without using my fingers so I rounded off to the Roundy's people) That is Robbery, I said!" Just as the big boy from Produce was checking himself out on the aisle next to me. He probably thought what a crotchety old lady she is. Or he knew he got caught with no jail time. More likely the first thought. I will be buying the raw peanuts elsewhere and a new nut chopper. (No not for the big boy in produce . LOL Until next time, be safe, be happy, and be well. Oh and get rich so you don't care what peanuts cost and so you don't feel the need to tell the world Copps are Robbers. I cant get sued can I? I think there's that Freedom of Speech and all unless that's been changed too. They cant sue me! The politicians are outlying each other right and left as I type.

Babb's Called...............by Diane Ogden
Babbette called. She is a special person I met a few years ago through my son Chris. My Dad, who has since passed loved her. Said my son knows how to pic a woman! She, Babbette can sing like bird. She sang "I've got a brand new pair of roller skates" for Dad and he went nutz with glory. I wanted so much for her to come back and sing to him before he died but she wasnt able to. Babbs is an intelligent gypsy. She lives near the Redwoods in California....loves the sunsets, shaved her head to give her hair to locks of love and is now bald! But she cares not. She has taught me more than any teacher I ever had. Math hasn't helped me live the good life. State History was stupid considering most of us MOVED hello! But english lit I do wish I would have paid more attention as I love to write. I have two unpublished novels and several childrens books sitting in a drawer. Maybe confidence is the answer. Ya think? Attitude and confidence IS the answer. Could you shave your head and walk around with mega confidence knowing who you are inside? Damn right, especially if you lived in a small town in Northern Cali near the Giant Redwoods where if you merely brushed agaisnt them you would be changed. The old "hug a tree" is small talk compared to a Redwood and its energy. Boy would I like to be sitting at the base of a Redwood about now. Since I am not I might go hug my slim and skinny palm tree out in the sunroom. OMG! Not even close, but who knows, maybe! If I were to hug any tree out in front of my apartment complex I would only have to hope no one is looking! I have to say if I saw a woman out front hugging a tree I would ghasp and then I would quickly change that human thought and totally understand. When Babbs came to visit once it was in the spring/summer when the birds had mated and baby birdies were being born. Every year for 7 years the Swallows of Madison Wisco would attack, well okay, SWOOP on my dog and I every time we left he building. It was like they hated us and no one else. Babbs said the Swallows were sending me a message so I listened and actually told them "I got it," then right at that exact time a finch made a nest on my porch in a potted hanging plant. No kidding, baby finches in there. I had to water that plant very carefully so as not to water any baby finches. I did some research and discovered (as Babbs had told me) that the finches bring peace. They played interference between myself and the Swallows. And by God and the Universe I have never been swooped on again since. I am speaking the truth! Seven years of those Swallows scaring my dog and I and Bam, DONE! There is an old blog from about 09 regarding the Finches. One day last week I was searching for a photo and came across a pic I took of the Father Finch. He always came to visit me when I came out onto the porch. So I took his pic several times. Suddenly now three years later I notice an aura around the Father Finch. I suspect, no I know he was sent from the next world for me!

Okay, So This is NOT Charlotte!.....by Diane Ogden
Told ya! This is not sweet Charlotte. I looked down and there is was by my pant leg at 2:17 p.m. this afternoon day. I instantly scooted away from Mr. S.P. Ider and ran for my camera. Phone camera again as I left the good one in the car AGAIN! I zoomed but I am not sure you can get a true idea of the size of this thang. Big and Bigger. My helper said, "KILL IT!" I said, "No way, its too big. That would be like killing a small dog and that would be bad KARMA." She doesn't believe in such things so she again said, "Kill it!" And again I said I couldn't do that. Oueey Gooey! No! I couldn't take it outside cause I was thinking it might jump on me and then I would have to make a total scene by screaming, falling, rolling, and then jumping all the while removing all clothing until I am stark mayonnaise jiggly body naked. Not good. Especially if anyone around had a camera. Well none of that happened and Mr. S.P. Ider ran off very quickly to somewhere. I only hope not to any one's bed ....eeeww, eewww. Sorry. And I can only hope KARMA won't bring Ms. S.P. Ider to my humble abode. So until next time be safe, be well, be happy, and get rich so you don't have to feel guilty about not removing the HUGE animal insect from someone else's home. Maybe it was supposed to be in their path. Ya think? Ya, me either.

The Lovely (for my KARMA) Toaster Lamp.................by Diane Ogden
First of all I do not wish to ever hurt any one's feelings by posting a photo I have taken of their lovely property.. But Yet.....there is free speech and this one really calls for it ya know?? Come on.....a toaster lamp? Really? It is the ugliest or one of the ugliest items I have ever found myself to come into contact with. Even though I have a magnet on my fridge that says to respect every ones path in this Universe and I try to. I respect this persons path. I just think this lamp that is in their path with them is awful and unbecoming. It even says SUNBEAM on the side. Dread full piece of history with milk glass accentuating its glistening glory. Ghastly is all I can say. A toilet in some ones front yard full of flowers is better. Only thing worse is a yard full of ceramic gremlins and other little critters with little Christmas lites strung around each and hanging this and that's. Oh God save me. But then if that makes them happy you go people! Me, I use those things to threaten my children. I say: Do as I say or I will put 200 Ty Piggy's the back window of my Buick! Or do as I say or I will put Christmas lites on the grill of my Buick as well as buy and install a car horn that plays Here Comes Santa Claus and drive by your house playing it for your neighbors! Might even pass by your work place.... Just Kidding! Maybe! I actually have a bit more class in the ass than that. Ya think? Not sure huh? Me either and who really cares? I Do! I Do! I just cant help but write the sillies. Must be one of those days where the sky meets the horizon or the numbers say "its your day" to say whatever you want. That would take too long. Soooo....be happy,be safe, be well, and get rich so you can buy a real lamp and not have to pretend your a hippie so you can have a this lamp by your bed so you can read "good books?" Oh, and dream of toast!! God I hope this person NEVER reads this because they are most likely the ONLY people who own an empty toaster cover lamp.
The Heaven's are on Fire..................by Diane Ogden
< div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was driving home from work this evening around 6:30 p.m. when I couldn't help but notice the
sky. Trying to drive and watch this strange sky was in itself an interesting fete, feet, feat?? I think the last feat is right. You get it! My first thought was that the Heavens were on fire but that is impossible. As I come to a ridge it became even more stunning......it was a beautiful sunset, but the clouds were angry. It was good and bad all squashed together. Squashed would be my college word for intertwined with an anger beyond this world and a meshing with a godlike energy from someplace we can only vision in a dreamlike state. Yah thats what squashed is in this context. A beauty beyond the earth is what I saw. And a horror racing to meet it to see who might come out ahead. I wasn't frightened although I thought I should be as I had never seen such a combination of awesome beauty and fiery fear so close together. Well maybe my last husband and I would qualify. Only in my mind but never in reality had I seen such fearsome beauty. Yet there it was and I was driving and couldn't reach my real camera on the floor in my purse so I used my Samsung Galaxy II in a moving vehicle to capture these amazing shots. The latter a bit blurry but shows the anger of the clouds. So many colors....so many emotions of the atmosphere showing their power. I wondered if anyone else saw beyond the limits of their minds what I was seeing. I wondered if my Dad saw it better than I did as he died a couple months ago. So does that mean he is closer to it?
Or am I? Was he scared? Was he in awe of it as I was? Probably he was in awe. It was like heaven and hell were about to meet for the first time and get it on and it was any body's bet who would win because each was equally awesome by my human viewing. Of course I want to say the positive won, and it must have because I didn't blow up and see what comes next or see my Dad.
The sun just continued to set itself in the west in a spectacle beyond my imagination....and the rain in the clouds dissipated and took its grey and purple hues with it....and it all worked out as it usually does, one way or the other.
So be well, be happy (the planet didn't blow up), and be safe.....and get rich so you can buy a better camera to take raging sunset photos of!

The Evil Renter......... By Diane Ogden
Okay so this is LuLu! The Evil cat that I am caring for while my daughter finds an apt. where she can have said cat LuLu. I have tried everything to love and care for her the past ten months.. God help me. She has destroyed every piece of furniture I own. My cat Lucy is terrified of her. She has scratched me as I pass her by. If she needed medical attention I would not be able to touch her to put her in the carrier. Why? I have no clue. I gave her a home when she had none. I feed her, talk baby talk to her, give her amazing treats, let her wake me up in the middle of the night when she sits on my chest and kneads my delicate skin at two a.m. thank you very much. This cat is PISSED OFF! She misses her old home where there were two little girls she slept with. She is only happy when my two little girl Grands come and spend the night which isn't that often. I have spent a lot of cash flow on repercussions of HER. Plain to see what's wrong! She misses the caretaker she has had since she was a kitten. My daughter! Whenever my daughter is around LuLu is happy and wonderful. When she is not I found a great solution. I bought a Calming Plug- In's (three so far) that are supposed to calm the cats. Over $100 big ones. I think they drugged me too actually. (not really) And that is a great idea for plug ins.... why not for humans too. Anyway, daughter came to visit and when she comes LuLu gets double pissed off AFTER SHE LEAVES. I am exaggerating because this is a blog. Actually LuLu is a very sweet cat and mostly loves children.
Daughter getting her own apt. and that will be cause for a bye bye LuLu party time!I have lived with evil cat for what some call OVERTIME with no pay. Is it good KARMA? I flippin doubt it. Road Kill is more appreciative of my tears for them then LuLu is for my loving care and treats!! And that is the truth. I just couldn't take her to the pound where they would have injected her with a death serum. She isn't any different than one of my three husbands. I kept them too long too because I am a caretaker. I just need to UPGRADE. So until I come across something funny or happy or interesting, be happy, be safe, be well, and get rich in case your Jerry Springer cat hates your sofa. Shit happens so they say and now I believe it. Will update Lovely LuLu as we go. I have a feeling she will be just fine. You never know if I am telling the truth here. Or writing?

The Attic...............by Diane Ogden
I was at a clients home the other day when I came upon a door I had not noticed before. How could I have not noticed a door considering I have been to this home every other week for a long time. I did consider it might go to a third floor attic room because this house is probably over a hundred years old at least. Yet I figured after I opened the door with all good intentions I would find merely the small duty of straightening out shoes and or boxes. Notsomuch! What I found was old unfinished stairs leading to a large empty floor space that resembled a blown up version of the inside of a covered wagon from a century past. As I was half way up the old creaky steps I saw it. The abandoned lifeless shoe. Laces tattered, the leather worn through in places. It was similar to when I used to shop for vintage jewelry, especially lockets, in my making of collage pieces. The lockets always stopped me "dead!" I would always have to split the locket into two parts to be able to use them in my work. This was not an easy thing for me to do considering there would always be a photo of a man on one side and a woman on the other from a "passed" time. I was blessed with one of the remains of their lives together and I was in the process of dismissing that fact by splitting them, the locket apart. So here I was again, in a vast cavern of old musty wood and one leather shoe that once belonged to who? I am a natural detective therefore if there is no concrete answer I have to come to one or my mind wont leave me without finality on the subject. Who was the woman who wore the shoe? Considering the ornate style of this three story home, now reduced to two apartments on each level, and looking at the age of it, I suspect whoever wore those shoes was a lady of substantial means. But then again, it could have been the housekeeper's shoes who was having an affair with the man of the manor and lost it (Cinderella) while escaping just in time before the Mrs. returned from her daily social tea. Yup that's the story. Oh, I was going to continue up the steps to look for any other leavings when I saw several large but little turds. That is when the smell of the word RAT came into my mind and senses and that is when I exited backwards down the old gray stairway and back to reality. I love my little journeys! Pillow Talk.................by Diane Ogden
I have a client and his wife that sleep with so many pillows I lost count. Trying to make a bed with twenty pillows is impossible. I actually told the hubbs of the bed, one day, that they might be happier with a FEATHER BED! Seriously. So now here I am.....driving to Target and purchasing two more new pillows and one super super soft cover for my body pillow so I can sleep better. If I added up the money I have spent for the pillows, covers, pillow top mattress's, puffy matress covers, and so on I could have bought a temperpedic by now!! Jeeezz. P.S. My son, his wife, and all three of his children have temperpedic's! Me, I sleep in a hole! A lousy cheap topper that doesn't work so well and that I sink into. Guess it's time for me to get a, well a half a temperpedic anyway..... You know, one of those few inch toppers to replace the pillow top with the sinking hole that has been turned too many times to work anymore. So until I find a decent bed, be happy, I AM, and be well, I AM, and be safe, I AM, except for I need a decent sleeping hole.....and get rich so you can buy a temperpedic or a good old feather bed like Grannie used to have. Except they don't clean up so "good." Nite..... We'll see if the new pillows work tonight.

Mr. Spider Meets His Demise! ......by Diane Ogden
This spider was not on the bath mat hanging over the shower rod!! It was SUSPENDED from the ceiling and it was spinning it web for ME! I walked into my bathroom and nearly hit this little bugger head on! I stopped DEAD in my tracks as he was eye level...... Who wants to have a head on collision with a spider in your bathroom? Not me. I am sooo happy I caught sight of that lil bugger before we hit. eeww eeeww eeeww... That said, I grabbed some tissue and squished Mr. Spider inside it and then flushed his sorry soul down the toilet. You see I usually take Mr. Spider's outside and let them go and let them live. Not this time! He was in my space literally. And my bathroom is close to my bed! So he's dead. No need to worry. Later, it's late! Be safe! nite

Autumn Leaves ....................by Diane Ogden
Creative title huh? Notsomuch! Who cares because today I am still alive for another years changing of the leaves. My Granddaughter spent the weekend with me and while on a couple errands she got my camera out of my purse which I never leave the house without. I tend to prefer my cannon sure shot to my Samsung Galaxy II for better pics..... Anyway she started taking photos out the car window while we were driving. Car moving and all! I did stop at our local Channel 3 WISC-TV parking lot in Madison Wisco where it sits atop a hill. While there my Granddaughter stood on the edge of an area of the car one would have called the running board in the "olden days," and took some still shots. The rest are while the car was moving. Grand is twelve years old and did a fine job.
All these pictures are less than a mile from where I live. Glad I am on the outskirts of the city this time of year.... The weeping willows and covered wagon are just down the road. None of the pictures are retouched except that one. I enhanced the green some. Enjoy!

I Lived Before I Lived..................by Diane Ogden
Betcha think I am De-Ranged like a caged chicken, which is probably more understandable to the masses, "Should be locked up in padded room??" Nope! Listen to me. I lived before, here, before I was born here again. And yes I believe in God. In fact I love God dearly. And no I don't believe my body has become inhabited by some spirit that is making me think I lived before. Nope! Ever since I was a child I knew I drowned "before." I could not learn to swim, I could not stand the bathtub water too high as it took my breath away. I could not drink water too long or I would recall drowning. I cannot even watch too many water shows or shows with water in them on TVor water accidents. And so on. God forbid I took an accidental trip down the rapids in Steamboat Springs one year. I was tricked! Thought I was going to Vegas.
And every time I hear a train whistle I cry. I recall the trains from the war. The 40's. I sing a song called, "I'm Comin Home Sweet Willie," that I cannot find written anywhere and which affects me deeply. Guess its my writing from "before."
I'll be comin home to
you Sweet Willie,
When the grass is
green and the fields are yellow,
Please don't fear
Sweet Willie,
For the War is old
and forgotten by many...
So be patient dear
and please do not fear...
We have a love that's
forever and deep as the sea,
Be it death or life, be it you or me...
Where the valley
light meets the dusk of day,
I will never stop
till the day is nay...
Be it floods or
famine or a gunshot wound,
For my love is like
the ocean deep
I'll be comin home to
you sweet Willie,
I'm comin home to you...
Sweet Willie
I can dance like they danced before I was born again. Just naturally do it. When I see a movie and the girl is waiting for the guy to get off the train from the war I automatically cry with a sincere deep yearning to be back there. I love to wear my hair in the rat roll like the 40's. I am overly comfortable in that style. I feel it.
I found a website www.upchucky.com and I listen to jute box music from 1940 - 1945 or 46. I remember those songs and sing along happily. When 1947 hits (the year I was born) I don't recall those songs after I was born again. I know I passed away (drowned) in 1946 and came back here in 1947. I don't care who doubts me I know that I know. And I am not sure why I was allowed to do this mess again because so far it has been a mess. Regarding the family I chose anyway. Otherwise I believe I have evolved rather well. As long as I can separate the earthen family from my spirit I am doing very well. I know this isn't my standard blog post. But it has been on my mind and its not like I am any international writer with thousands of readers, even though that is a dream of mine. And I appreciate the ones I have.
I hear from the spirit, but not as much as I would like as I have to work and live on this earth which takes most of the day. Add my three little pets who take another part of the day, one soap opera which takes one more hour of my day, add the normal duties of life such as showering and brushing teeth and eating. What's left? Driving time and Sundays! I watch old movies, how bout that? So until I hear more from the spirit regarding such nonsense......be well, be safe, be happy, and get rich cause its easier. And don't get too into what you see before your eyes because there is much much more. I suggest being kind to every living thing because I suspect when you pass over you will SEE that we are all one. Yup, the bugs and all! And yes I take spiders outside so they can live on. And yes I tell those little critters on the side of the road I am sorry they got run over ....and so on. I am a warm hearted human being who hopes to find out why I got to come back to this messy earth. ooohhh sorry for the tendency to sound negative. Not my thing! Erase Erase Erase
Photo is mawha with a Halloween bug on my shoulder! And hair in rat roll from the 40's. I actually wear it to work like that. I like me!
And every time I hear a train whistle I cry. I recall the trains from the war. The 40's. I sing a song called, "I'm Comin Home Sweet Willie," that I cannot find written anywhere and which affects me deeply. Guess its my writing from "before."
Sweet Willie
I'm comin home to
you..
I'll be comin home to
you.
The Time is near,
I'm comin home to
you...
It took you from me
too soon..
I'm comin home to
you....
With eagerness I
await thee...
Be it death or life, be it you or me...
I'm comin home to
you...
I'm comin home to
you....
where I meet you on
the other side...
I welcome the end in
sight.
For it brings us
always for keeps....
I'm comin home to you...
When the grass is
green and the fields are yellow..
I'll be comin home to
you...
I'll be comin home to you....

DeRanged.....................by Diane Ogden
I actually have a better photo of this but I also have a "fever" and this one was the easiest to find today. Not that I usually take the easy road because I do not. I think I will start though. Soo.... Every Halloween I let this bloody leg hang out of my trunk. This year I am in and out of my trunk so its on the passenger side. It is quite the show stopper. And each year I wonder if I might get pulled over by the local po-leece. So far I have done this for some eight years and only lost one leg. Luckily the local Halloween store had another for me.
It brings joy to people every day. Some walking, some driving, some standing and pointing.... but today I experienced a first. I stopped at the library to pick up some books I had waiting for me. I was leaving when an elderly woman, picture this now..... brown short wig, hefty, wrinkled up stone faced and creeping toward my car pointing at the leg. I laughed, she did not! She started to walk away and then crept back toward my car and over to my drivers side. Never a twinge of a smile or even a sneer, nothing! I rolled down my window and smiled politely at Mrs. Stoneface. She pointed at me and then toward the passenger side of the car and said, "Do you know you have a leg coming out of your car?" I swear on all my relatives graves she said that! I looked at her and said, "Yes I do." She looked at me with such disgust I felt naked. I backed up to get out of her range (de-rangement) when a van pulled in and a younger woman opened her mouth wide like she had seen a ghost. That is when I thought to myself (what is wrong with these people?) Like I was the sane one among the three. Neither women laughed but rather found my Halloween humor distasteful. They must have been from a religious cult.
All in all 99 % find the leg hilarious....or at least something out of the ordinary day. I do too. It's when I forget its there and people are making all sorts of motions at me regarding it. I eventually come to my senses and laugh with them.
So until I find something interesting or funny, be well, be safe, be happy, and try not to act de-ranged! Good God it is just a joke. And get rich so you can put a bloody leg in a NEW CAR door!
See ya
