I am used drama as I have a daughter. LOL Said daughter called earlier this evening sobbing. I had to get strong with her and tell her to stop it! Because she was driving and sobbing, and driving and sobbing don't mix. We don't have built in eye-shield wipers nor are we able to use RainX in our eyes, therefore, relax and deal. My daughter came upon a kitten in the middle of small town Main Street USA with a soup can stuck on its head. What does she do? She stops traffic which in turn causes another man to stop his vehicle and get out to help....him cussing the whole time because I am sure my drama daughter who should be in movies at the least, or Broadway second best, told the other driver who stopped in the middle of Main Street USA also, that SOMEONE put a soup can on this poor kittens head. (When in fact the kitten may have been hungry and did this nasty deed to itself unknowingly.) So, Joe listener, there they are, the two of them, trying not to break the kittens neck while unobstructing the soup can, and whalla they got it off. BUT, take note! He, the cussing passerby-er didn't take the kitten. She did. Is that some sort of Motherly response so the guy can slither away leaving the babies behind. I think so. ( I am not bitter! LOL) So I give her directions to the Emergency Animal Clinic where they take care of these cases for nothing... Go figure she runs into a nasty girl from her nasty girl days (they still exist it seems) Do they ever go away? Anyways ....Drama daughter said she was nice to the nasty girl from High School days. I was so proud. Not only did she save the life of a sweet little kitten, but she was cordial to another drama queen all in one day. God bless her! And the Kitten too of course. We are not going into what happened on her snowboarding weekend with her b-boy. That could stand for his name + boy, or it could stand for Bad-Boy as in (Bad boys Bad boys, whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you?) Or maybe bad word - boy.... STOP .....OK. I hope his life turns for the better and I pray my daughter finds more positive drama like Kittens that need assistance vs bad boys. It'll happen because I believe it will. Amen....Followers

What's in Your Window?

When my children were all small I recall one of the local Mother's was honored at the Jr. High in one of the hall window galleries. You know those windows where the sports memorabilia are always posted...or art work. Well she got the entire window. She was an author, she did authentic Indian Dances in authentic costume, she was an authentic Norwegian in an authentic Norwegian community...could speak many languages and so on. The day I saw "her window" has never left me. I would always say to myself, "What's in your (my) window?" I couldn't speak many different languages or do any in costume dances or have a big fancy house like she did. Or even a stable marriage. All the things I dreamed of since I was a little girl I didn't get. But I did get five beautiful children. I am making each one a picture book of their life. If I didn't get the window I wanted to "show" the world or my children who I am in my heart, I am trying through the books to give those boys and girl the only window I had to offer, their wonderful lives. What's my point? I was reminded once again about our personal life windows when my cousin died on Christmas Eve, in his truck, plowing the record breaking snow we had had in Wisconsin. I found his "life window" yesterday. Barely a two paragraph article in the newspaper and no funeral. His family said he has no insurance so they are having a little service in a few weeks. The State cremated his life body. His parents died many years ago...he had a rather difficult life and it seems it didn't end any differently. Here is the article.
Stoughton driver who died of medical condition ID'd
The Capital Times — 12/26/2008 11:15 am
A 65-year-old Stoughton man who died of a medical condition that precipitated a crash on County B in the town of Dunn on Wednesday has been identified as David G. McKeown, the Dane County Coroner's Office said Friday.
A news release said it was determined that McKeown died of natural causes.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office reported that authorities were called about 4:48 p.m. Wednesday on reports of a single vehicle crash on County B west of Keenan Road.
As passing motorists stopped to render aid, the vehicle started on fire.
The driver was pulled from the vehicle and CPR was performed, but the efforts were unsuccessful, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
That is all he got............... "What's in your window?"

I Ate a Cow!

I think I shall blog this one! Or maybe not.
I bought a pot roast the other day. I do not recall the poundage, but a good guess it was the size of three of my fists. I ate the whole thing in three days. I couldn't stop....even thru Christmas... I also purchased two large potatoes. Maybe this is what senility is? Or old age eeeww. Or the old maid who lived alone.....even more eeewww. I put catsup on that meat and went at it like a chocoholic goes after fudge. Ya think I am low on iron? Naw...Ya think my body, no brain desired something other than P. B. and J? I think so. I have also eaten two tubs of non dairy creme cheese on crackers for breakfast all week. At least I spread that one out. And then again, maybe its this out of the world Wisconsin weather. Snow Snow and more snow and missing jobs along with cash that goes with them? Thinking too much? Or just plain I hadn't had roast beef in months plus. I had lost 13 pounds so maybe my body/brain just didn't like "change" and was tricking me to get some of its body blankie back! p.s. The dog was happy with the new cooking spree too.

A Spirit Inspired Gift
Let me introduce you all to Kimberly, Wendy, and Tamara. Sisters! Sisters in the "center" of an extremely serious life battle. In my previous blog posts I discussed their Father, William "Billy" Miller who was murdered 36 years ago almost to the day the authorities arrested his x-wife and best friend for collaborating his murder. It has been stated that Wendy was in the car with her Mother when the incident took place. (Wendy was only a baby at the time) I am Tamara's Mother in law and when I found out their was a trial coming up soon as well as two segments on DATELINE in January or February 2009, my heart reached out to these girls and their Aunt Sharon who has never stopped looking for the answers to this once "cold case," now turned very HOT! I was walking around one of our local stores just browsing and as I always do I walk past the fine jewelry just to see if anything is really on sale... That is when I was drawn to a jewel case I rarely look at. The lockets and crosses. I mean I have three lockets tucked away, why would I look for any such thing? When I saw the small oval locket whose cover was engraved with "In My Heart Forever'" I knew what to do immediately. It was like spiritual CPR....I ordered three, then as you can well guess, I was sent a photo of the girls with their Daddy, Billy, when they were all http://onslowcrime.encblogs.com/?p=638 In addition please read http://miraclesstillhappen36yearslater.blogspot.com/

Merry Christmas from Hello Wisconsin

They tell me on TV we have set all records nationwide for sheit weather, ever this year. Ya Think I don't know this! I have the need to make up for MUCH cash flow lost due to ice, snow, clients cancelling due to holidays, etc. come January. Add to that, My Godmother, age 97 is in heart failure in the hospital, add to that my first cousin David was out plowing on Christmas Eve and died. Yes died....he had a heart attack by himself inside a Wisconsin Snow Plow on Christmas Eve. Hey, maybe it wasn't bad. Maybe it was a beautiful white soft night over by his brother's house they say....(the bro that died two years past from cancer.) I have to really work on not thinking he may have died alone. Surely not...surely his brother was with him. I would bet on it. They lost their parents years before they lost one another so I am just thinking I am right on this one. Bless you David. All the way to those pearly gates at entrance B. Hey we both know you couldn't get into entrance A...its OK....me either probably. But once in....you can guide the others coming in. I just know it. A B is good. A C is even good....I pray for NO F's....be they F minus or F plus or any F's for sure... There were none David because F is for failure and you were not one of those. No one is a failure in God's eyes. You had/have family in God....he respects our prayers and we pray you all the way to his light. No matter what. God bless you David McKeown! God bless you totally and purely. G-ma Tillie was there to meet you I just know it. She never came back here ....she chose to wait upon us all one by one to make sure we crossed over with less fear. Bless her also.......and all who enter her table in Heaven this Christmas Day and all days to come. She is our family Saint. Saint Tillie. Sweet Tillie. Sweet Jesus.

Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day....
Seems my G-daughter (Grand) has taken after her Nana in the writing department.... I truly felt I had to share this wonderfully creative writing by said G-daughter. Here we go!
When I woke up this morning there was a sucker in my hair. I want to move to Florida. Then when I was going to get dressed my sisters took my clothes and I couldn't get dressed. I could tell I was going to have a terrible, horrible, no good , very bad day. When I came downstairs my cereal was soggy. I 'm having a terrible, horrible, no good very bad day. When I was looking for it I almost missed the bus. For Daily Double I did not know what to make. In Writing I could not spell the words right. For Working with Words I did not know what to do. At lunch I lost my lunch card. I want to move to Florida. I'm having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. At recess my coat was missing and I was cold. I want to move to Florida. It was snowing. Math was challenging. When I got home I had lots of hard homework to do. I'm having a terrible, horrible , no good, very bad day. I want to move to Florida. At dinner nobody would talk to me. I'm having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. I want to move to Florida. When I was going to get in my bed, my sister took my stuffed animal away and I could not fall asleep. My dad came in to check on me. I was on the floor. I fell off the bed and I didn't know it and in the morning I woke up, and I was on the floor. I told my Mom and Dad, "I had such a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day." They said, "Some days are like that, even in Florida."
