CURE for COVID 19 by Julianna Rowe

CURE for COVID 19:

I heard this inside my mind and wished to share:

The rivers run smooth sometimes and the valleys are fresh with knowledge and warmth from the wisdom of the sun. Then there are times when the rivers swell and the banks overflow and the valleys fill with dredge and shadows of darkness. Pain evolves forever from these times, but the Sun always shines again. The wisdom will come through and the knowledge will be everlasting. So which do you take? The darkness or the light? The fear or the warmth of the sun? Shine! Like the glow of a million stars. Rise above the valley of the storms, not caught up in them. 💜

Dear Mother, In case the COVID19......

Dear Mother,

Thank you for calling me and wishing me well and for the beautiful flowers before my surgery last year.  I hope neither of us will be in the hospital with CORVID19 when you receive this.  I want you to know I remember all the wonderful things you did for me when I was growing up.  The Easter cakes you would make that looked like a Bunny nest. I loved the coconut and jelly been eggs.  All the yeast breads you baked from the Betty Crocker Cook book (I still have.)  The Christmas’s….the popcorn and berries I really didn’t like stringing.  Hated the tinsel by the way. The canned HAM metal opening “key twists” that hung from the tree.  The construction paper rings we glued into long garlands.  The stories you read us at bedtime from the big red book collection. The Pied Piper. The Shoemaker.  The Kings Coat. And many more.   The plaster molds you made and let me paint.  The time you stayed up all night making me a dress for the Homecoming Dance.  The time you fell while you were pregnant and unconscious….I put my cowgirl hat on you trying to help you,  I remember that, I was only 4.  The birthday parties, confirmation, holidays, parties at Nana and Grandad’s.  Trips I hated due to car sickness. Swimming lessons I just couldn’t seem to master. I remember going with you to the Quisling Clinic off Wisconsin Aveue when you were pregnant, I was about 4.
I couldn’t climb up onto the huge Navy-blue leather chairs I was so small.   Making Valentines for school parties.  Cupcakes.  Going to Woolworth's on the square.  And those awful Toni perms.  The operation on the birthmark on the side of my face at age eleven, worst headache I ever had.  My Dad crying when his mother passed away and there wasn’t enough money for him to fly back to her funeral.  Leaving my dog “Toucher” behind when we moved.  Our neighbors Billy and John.  Moving back to Wisconsin.  Anyway …. There is a lot more I remember and I want to thank you for bringing me into this world.  I have five beautiful children I adore.  They are all good people and I am proud of each of them.  You take care. I’m sorry you are all alone and cant remember any of this anymore....

Are We One? .................property of Julianna Rowe

                                    Are We One?
It is dark, as it is light.
Grim shadows, leaping about....
Dandelions smiling in their play,
Like that of a kite in flight.
The dark withered trees before me,
Hollow of wisdom betrayed.
The sun shines as nature matures without us....
On its expedition of life,
And its never ending process no matter a virus.
Rain falls silently as you can still hear the
Breaking of twigs that surround you on your lonely walk.
As you wain in from the isolated trail,
In sound of mind leading to know where...
The creek flows gently as it still maintains its
Trinkling sound that can bring you peace from
   It's surrounding hello's.
As you become dismayed, and begin to wonder
What is really happening....You realize that....
The world as you knew it is ending and  we
Are no longer one,  together, mixed, for someone
Else's convenience.  Who?  Who did this?
God?
The Government?
No matter.... it is done

Comes the Dawn by Julianna Rowe

             “Comes the Dawn”

After a while you learn the subtle difference
between holding a hand and chaining a soul.
And you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning,
And company doesn’t mean security.
And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts,
And presents aren’t promises.
And you begin to accept your defeats
With your head up and your eyes open.
With the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build all your roads on today
Because tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans,
And futures have a way of falling down at midnight.
After awhile you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much.
So, you plant you own garden and decorate.
Your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure.
That you really are strong.
And you really do have worth –
And with every good-bye you learn.

The Corona Walk............property of Julianna Rowe

The Corona Walk:   Property of Julianna Rowe

It had been a long three weeks on the inside with what seemed like a prison with no bars.  The walls carried themselves closer and closer to me as though they were asking for or needing something.  I tried to keep them at bay for they frightened me with their non-descript attitude and lack of emotions.   Yet I needed them and they needed me as both stood against the other in the fear of each other's neediness.
And then came the day of partial release meaning I could leave the presence of those needy walls and saunter to the mailbox and the outside world.  But only for a short duration they say.  Who is they you ask?  The government of course, the ones who put their men of martial order on each street with the shiny badges and leather holsters of killing.  Would they kill me if I left sooner?  Maybe.  So, I didn’t because they owned me.
I walked to the outside touching the lock or a knob or a key thinking it might murder me. Then to the outside world I sauntered in trepidation.  Why wasn’t anyone else out there with me? At least the walls inside hailed toward me in some measure of wantonness.  I was momentarily bankrupt of mind yet adequate enough wishing to run back to the isolation and nothingness.  And then I heard something it as I peered out searching for the sound of life but there was no life.  One car passed carrying some sense of hope for the living.  There it is again, that sound.   I walked further on the gray cement hearing only my footsteps click clack click clack and then that other sound again.  I searched from left to right up and down but only saw the emptiness of each storefront, each abandoned parking stall and then I saw it, the sound that is.  Crackling like little sticks brushing against one another but it wasn’t, it was a whirlwind of leaves circling about like happy children playing so peacefully.   Hippity Hop tumbling and giggling in the chilly fresh air of nature.  No other sounds were heard because there was a barrenness of humans on the streets.
Then I saw from my left side, a woman walking toward me, but as she came closer, twenty feet, she oddly crossed over the grey deserted cement to the parking lot allowing herself to have no human contact with me at all.  I thought to myself, “I won't hurt you, or will I?”  To her I was a possible murderer and to me she should have been.
Then I heard the sound of the birds frolicking in the trees like I didn’t exist.  They used to flee from me but not anymore because it was there turn for me to flee.  You see the humans were fleeing now and mother nature had her house back.  The leaves told me so as did the birds along with the silence of nature who woke from her forever prison of hibernation from the humans ruling. It was her turn.  And I enjoyed every moment of each blade of grass singing to the heavens their freedom from man's chemicals.  Each tree budding not because it was man's calendar called Spring rather each bud was her freedom from the human.  The sky was clear and reflecting itself upon me clean and in thankfulness and some arrogance of its freedom from all human pollution.  It appeared like the water off a paradise island where you can see through it freely, no interruptions as in no plastics, no oil, no garbage, and no chemicals. The sky was free indeed from the humans.  The trees swayed as though speaking their independence, the leaves were dancing, and the birds were singing.
Mother nature had spoken to me and I heard and felt her. She was alive and my people were not.  At least the Universe had shut them down temporarily so Mother Nature could be reborn. How long will that last?  I don’t know but I do know there must be a reason.

The World Smelled Better Today!..................by Julianna Rowe

The world smelled better today or maybe I smelled better with the new Obsession perfume I purchased.  I say this because I was rec'd well everywhere I traveled.  I hadn't done anything different, in fact I had some bad thoughts today.  Maybe the moon and the stars were in some perfect or near perfect placement for my benefit.  Its's not my birth-Day nor did I fall to my knees  begging for anything in particular or anything for that matter.... I have no MAJOR health issues other than a partial lung removal this past March as well as a case of acquired Bronchitis that set me back some.  Family issues no different than anyone else.  The end of a relationship could have some bearing on why the Universe might be offering some uplifting people in my path.  Either or.....it was a darn good day at the Bank....the store.....the nail salon.....in traffic....at work....and at home.

I was early for the nail salon so I made a stop at the HyVee Grocery Store.  I walked in asking where the rest room was.  When I found it occupied I waited and when the door opened a man-boy walked out.  I double checked the sign that read WOMEN.  I thought OMG my first trans bathroom incident and it went fair(l)y well.  I wondered if he had breasts or if he was a he?  If he looked like a he why wasn't he in the MEN's side?  What am I missing?  After we spoke some nothingness words I decided to let it go! Way over my head in terms of understanding although I do tolerate. Is that the right word?

Then I asked a middle aged man where the organics section was.....he basically danced me over to the place I needed, then gave me a high five, a big smile, and good words!  What a thrill.

Then I met the best dressed couple in the city.  I thought of asking if I could take a photo but decided their demeanor was the next thing to royalty and it would not have been appropriate. So I did the next best thing.  I said:

"Excuse me."  They both stopped and give me their undivided attention.  I continued:  "You all are a beautiful couple, dressed impeccably. You make the store and the world a better and more attractive place."

They smiled and thanked me.  They were a black couple in their 60's.  He wore a long wool dress coat with a red plaid scarf around his neck.  A french hat or maybe called a golf hat in this country.

She wore a knee length black wool dress coat with a black ranchero hat.  You know, the flat brimmed one.  They made the world smell better to all who viewed them.  It made me want to go shopping for some a new wardrobe or at the least a new hat.  So many people wear sweats or just plain nasty clothes when they leave the house.  This couple made life look more hopeful.  Kinder.  And Blessed.

I found myself being funny again.  Using the humor I allowed to go stagnant for a while.  I am a happy person and enjoy when others feel happy, especially in my presence.  Yes that is me, mouth wide open as usual but this time laughter pouring out. Nice teeth.

"Obviously No One Was Watching the Coop".................by Julianna Rowe

Rooster-Cluck and his Man-Chicks…..

https://www.dictionary.com  Cluck definition: to utter the cry of a “hen” brooding or calling HIS chicks. (Mitch, Rudy, Pompeo, Numes...)

I do not recall where I got this picture but it's priceless!  Just look at that Man-Cluck Rooster Trump with his orange head and fat belly... high stepping his feathery strut as he crosses the plank I say represents our sagging America all the time thinking he’s a real man who believe's he might rule Putin’s world.  Strutting that plank like the women he’s squashed beneath him getting away with it scott free.  There he be with his herd of  “man-clucks” following the pied piper bad boy!  (Pied Piper: someone who other people follow or support but who may harm them or leave them disappointed) To say the least.

Can chicken's (CLUCK's) swim? Nope! Their feathers are not waterproof, they do not secrete the oil that ducks do – once they get sodden wet the chicken will sink like a stone. They should never be left alone near water that is deep enough for them to drown in. Obviously no one was watching the coop.  I think not because the BBC  says they are going off the plank one by one.  Number one being “Chicken Mitch”. Number two, “Rudy the Runt.”  Number three, “Pinocchio Pompeo.”  Number four, "Not-so Nunes." And so on.

Who would ever follow (kiss the butt) an illiterate, incompetent, narcissist hasn’t learned that some man-Chickens who pretend to be roosters are nothing more than long legged Trumpers.  (Means not fully grown up mentally but fully GREEDY) And from what I see, hear, and read those boys following that orange topped strutter on that narrow plank can’t swim well enough to be in this marathon!  “It's fun watching him cluck over his kids on HIS playground this week."
