THINGS I KNOW AT THIS AGE:
I know peace has become more valuable than proving a point.
That exhaustion can disguise itself as patience for far too long. I know old songs still remember parts of us people forgot. That survival changes a woman and kindness matters more than image.And I know this:
The older I get, the less interested I am in pretending.
Some things break you and some things teach you and some things quietly lead you back to peace.
Healing rarely arrives loudly..
